DR.Cortez is proud to call Spring his hometown and is honored to serve the community he grew up in. He began his academic journey at Texas A&M University, where he earned his degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then continued his education at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Following dental school, Dr. Cortez completed an Advanced Education in General Practice Residency at Memorial Hermann Hospital. There, he received extensive training in managing complex cases, dental emergencies, and caring for medically compromised patients—further refining his clinical expertise.
Biography
With a strong focus on precision and personalized care, Dr. Cortez is passionate about delivering high-quality dentistry in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. He believes in building lasting relationships through trust, compassion, and attention to detail.
Outside the office, Dr. Cortez enjoys spending quality time with his family and close friends. His favorite pastimes include grilling and smoking meats, hunting, fishing, and getting lost in a great book. And of course—he’s a proud and loyal Aggie!
